Free Up That Money

If you have been following one of my other blogs, moneyformylife, you would know that a challenge was issued almost a week ago. Somebody had asked "how can I free up some money to help pay down my credit card debt?" and I issued a challenge to not grocery shop for the next week except for the perishables like milk, bread, and eggs (if you needed any). My monthly budget for grocery shopping is $250 a month or $8.33 a day. So far, on my sixth day, I have worked on cleaning out the pantry and haven't needed groceries.

I have saved $50.00 so far. That is $50.00 that I can use to pay down one of my remaining credit cards. I chose food because everybody eats (sounds much like a children's book, if I may say so myself). You can always find coupons at coolsavings.com or even money-saving ideas at dolans.com. Please come back soon as I will begin posting some credit card sites that can assist you in finding the lowest rate possible.

If you find yourself deep in credit card debt, please visit my website.

Here's to eliminating your credit card debt and having a great life!
